The magazine made the list based on fashion industry specialists' poll. David and Victoria are in the list together with such well known fashionistas as Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Brad Pitt and Anjelina Jolie and Viscount and Viscountess Linley.
The magazine's editorship reasoned the choice of Beckham's the following way: "Because the whole is greater than the sum of the parts."
Posh and Becks are compared to the impeccable Steve McQueen and Audrey Hepburn's style.
One more reason to hit the list is that Beckham's family tries to become popular in the USA. It is well known Vicky is considered to be the style icon and fashion trend setter always ready to experiment.
There are people who think David Beckham as well as his wife Victoria have bodies created to wear clothing. Moreover they always look marvelous. Becks are the best accessories for each other.
It is interesting that there is also a new French President Nicolas Sarkozy and George Clooney in the list of the best-dressed people in the world.

Victoria Beckham to Substitute Singing for Fashion
Famous singer Victoria Beckham (also known as the wife of the legendary soccer player and a very sexy man David Beckham) has officially announced she leaves the world of music and singing to foothold in the world of fashion.
Since recently Victoria has become a successful designer. She creates DVB jeans, bags, sun glasses. Sometimes she leaves her designer's work to participate in photo shoots for some magazines and appears in ad campaigns for famous brands such as Marc Jacobs.
Recently in an interview Vicky told she didn't belong to the music industry any more, but she belonged to the fashion industry. Fashion is her main project at the moment.
As a prove to her words the re-united 'Spice Girls' band shortened their world tour. The last concert of reunited 'spices' will take place in Toronto, February 26. As for scheduled shows in Beijing, Sydney, Capetown and Buenos Aires, they were canceled.
According to the official statement, all the participants have urgent family problems to resolve and they can't continue their world tour.
As for the Beckham's family, there are rumors they dream to adopt a girl from an African country. Recently David visited Sierra Leone and came back very touched and impressed by the children he saw there and conditions they live in.
It seems it is a new fashion trend among stars to adopt children from poor African countries. But it is great if they make it from the bottom of their hearts and really want to take care of them.
