The Hollywood Celebrity Colin James Farrell, who has starred in high profile Hollywood films like Tigerland, Daredevil, Miami Vice, Minority Report, Phone Booth, Alexander and S.W.A.T. was born on May 31, 1976. Colin Farrell has also won Golden Globe Award. This Irish actor was born in Castleknock, Dublin. Colin Farrell is the son of Rita who is a housewife, and Eamon Farrell who is a footballer. His father played for Shamrock Rovers FC. Colin Farrell has three siblings, two sisters and one brother. His two sisters are Claudine and Catherine and Claudine is his personal assistant. His brother is Eamon Óg.

Colin Farrell attended St. Brigid's National School Castleknock followed by Castleknock College and Gormanston College. Colin Farrell even played football for Dublin Team, Castleknock Celtic, as a goalkeeper, during the late 1980s and early 1990s. During the same time he dated Angie Miller. Colin Farrell appeared for an audition for the Irish group Boyzone when he was still unknown and was unsuccessful. Farrell then attended The Gaiety School of Acting. But he was unfortunate to drop out of this school. After this he was cast in the part of Danny Byrne on Ballykissangel, a BBC television drama on which he appeared from 1998 to 1999.

In July 2001 Colin Farrell married English actress Amelia Warner but their marriage lasted for only four months and they got separated. Colin Farrell has a son named James, with model Kim Bordenave, who has Angelman Syndrome. Angelman Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by intellectual and developmental delay, speech impediment, sleep disturbance, seizures, hand flapping movements, and frequent laughter/smiling. In December 2005, Colin Farrell himself was admitted into a rehabilitation treatment center for treatment against recreational drugs and painkillers.

His public relation consultant confirmed his admission into the rehab and also revealed that Farrell had started taking painkillers due to a back injury. Farrell was released in January 2006. In May 2006, he attended rehabilitation meetings. Currently Farrell is an owner of a property near Phoenix Park in Dublin and also a house in Sandymount. He also owns a home in Los Angeles where he currently lives just to be near to his son.

Britney Spears in Sex And The City!

It is a rumor in the tinsel town of Hollywood that the Sex and The City Lead Actress and producer, Sarah Jessica Parker is keen to cast Britney Spears in the Sex and The City movie sequel. Sarah Jessica Parker has a feeling that the singer would prove to be perfect in the sequel. Britney Spears, who has also appeared on CBS' stunt casting-crazed How I Met Your Mother last year, would be playing a young relative of Sarah's character, Carrie Bradshaw. Sarah Jessica Parker had told friends that: “My idea is to have someone like Britney Spears move to New York as my cousin or niece and Carrie would show her the ropes.”

As far as Britney Spears is concerned she was seven years ago cast in the chick flick crossroads, when she was only 20. Crossroads was written by Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes and was one of the worst movies of all time. Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are all expected to join Sarah Jessica in the SATC sequel, which we're guessing Britney won't be in.
